I’ve Been Talking A Lot

Wow, so much has been going on in my life that it’ll take more than one blog post to do it proper justice. Thank you for your patience as I start to get back into a regular publishing routine again. The thoughts are all there, it’s the organization that takes time.

Horror in the Margins invited me onto their podcast to talk about Infinity Mathing At the Shore & Other Disruptions, and our conversation went all over the place in the best possible way. Check it out if you want to hear me discuss things like the power of vulnerability and making mistakes in my twenties. Tiffany and Nicole are hilarious and a blast to chat with – we had a good time.

I’m very honored to say that I recently taught a poetry workshop about the political importance of desire as part of the Circa Queer Histories Festival. Aiko and Pravina also taught, and did a fantastic job yet again; their workshop about bodies always leaves my notebook full and my brain itchy. The powerful words and ideas that were shared that day have moved directly into the neighborhood of my consciousness; we’re good friends now. Thank you again to everyone who attended and participated – please feel free to update me on your progress – I’d love to see where your writing takes you! The Transgressive Writing Workshop is going to release an online zine of everyone’s work. If you’re interested, here is where you can go check out our first issue from our poetry workshop at The Ruby Fruit.

And –

if you missed out on picking up a copy of my zine The Gingerbread Man at VoidCon 2024 and would like to get your hands on one, they’re now available for sale at Full Moon Market. My trans reinterpretation of a classic fairy tale is limited to a print run of 50, and won’t be reprinted once sold out.

That’s all for now – thanks for coming along this far with me, readers <3
